  12. After visiting Zoom's web site, I learned that the 28.8 faxmodem to which I referred
  13. in my initial posting is the Comstar 620...but is the Comstar 620 comes with 
  14. updated EPROM v1.309 or the older and buggy EPROM that many people in this 
  15. newsgroup mentioned?

  17. I have also come across an ad in Computer Shopper that mentioned a Zoom Comstar 623 
  18. which has DSVD, but there's no such model being mentioned in Zoom's web site...so 
  19. anyone has any experience with these Comstar modems (620 & 623)?
